Cancelation Policy

Gdl Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip, in which circumstances the customer's full deposit will be refunded. Otherwise deposits will be only refunded on the following basis:

At the moment of reserving, specific cancellation policies for the tour and transportation to which you are reserving will automatically be displayed for your information. The following are general cancellation policies which are applicable for most of our listed tours and transportation services:

The Following policy will apply when tour cancellation and refund policy is not listed in the tour description.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within one business day after purchase, customers will be fully refunded if the orders cannot be confirmed.

  1. Cancellations received up to 31 days prior to departure will incur a penalty of 10% per person.
  2. Cancellations received within 15-30 days of departure will incur a penalty of 15% per person.
  3. Cancellations received within 7-14 days of departure will incur a chage of 25% per person.
  4. Cancellations received within 4-6 days of departure will incur a charge of 50% per person.
  5. Unused features are non-refundable NO SHOWS forfeit entire payment.
  6. The trains to Tequila and Amatitan once paid have no refund.

Policy NO SHOW:

The client has tolerance of 10 minutes after the previously established schedule, If the client does not show up at the time previously established, it is understood that the client cancels his service unilaterally and will not be reimbursed.
Some trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation.We reserve the right to cancel a trip resulting in a full refund to affected customers, although the ORGANIZER will do everything possible to maintain normal operation.

Refund Procedure

Please send an e-mail with your full name and date of your Tourist service or tour reservation or call us directly from the U.S. and Canada order to proceed with the cancellation.

We understand that extenuating circumstances may arise and a change in the booking date might be needed. For this reason, we will be glad to switch you over to any other program date within a period of one year from your booking date at no charge!*
