We leave the city to travel south for 35 miles (1 hour) south of Guadalajara, from the vehicle we will see the farming areas, Vicente Fernandez residence, Los Tres Potrillos, (The 3 Colts) the smallest horses according the Guinness records. The largest rodeo, charrería arena in Latin America VFG arena, site to the yearly international competitions, concerts and other events.
See impressive residencial areas at the American residential colony, local flora, trees, exotic plants, etc. Down town is full of shops where you can find jewelry, weavings, arts and crafts and other unique souvenirs or you might prefer to explore the main plazas on your own and meet expatriates who are now locals living by the lake.
When you are ready for lunch, you will be conducted to a well recommended restaurant for lunch (not included). When you are ready, you will be driven back to Guadalajara.
