We leave the city heading south 31 miles we will see farming areas, Vicente Fernandez´s residence, Los Tres Potrillos, (he is famous for breeding miniature horses) he also owns the largest Lienzo Charro in México (Mexican Rodeo Arena) site to the yearly international charros competition, international concerts and other events.
We will pass by a town famous for its candy (called ate) and liquor quince production.
We arrive the picturesque town of Chapala Ajijic, where the guide will describe the area seen from the dock and getting free time to explore or take a ride by boat to the Scorpion´s Island.
In our Cooking class, learn how to make regional dishes in a natural setting, near Hacienda la Calera location for the movie "Like water for chocolate" and Mariachi singer Vicente Fernandez´s ranch (both places seen from outside).
When ready for lunch in Ajijic, you will be conducted to a well recommended restaurant where you will have time for lunch (not included). After lunch you will get back to Guadalajara.
