Option A: Take bus 275-B on Alcalde Av. Map. Historic Guadalajara A3 going south towards Tlaquepaque.
Go to a busstop parabus This are boots on the sidewalk, buses donot stop anywhere but only on designated spots.

Notice: streets in mexico have metal signs on every corner attached to the wall, painted blue with white letters.

This bus is painted white with a horizontal red line on the side with a sign on the windshield with the route number, signal with your hand as if you were asking for a taxi so the driver sees you. See same Map

When the bus makes a total stop get on board, pay driver $4.50 pesos. Ride for 20 min. aprox. you will pass Instituto Tecnologico (University of Guadalajara) on Marcelino Garcia Barragan Av. will turn on Niños Heroes for a few blocks (5) and then will turn left into down town Tlaquepaque on Porvenir street, ride 5 or 6 blocks or ask the driver to let you off anywhere and walk across the street 1 block . Get off anywhere and walk to Juarez Av. and Independencia street (pedestrian).


Some times buses are very much in demand that people make lines in order to get on board just pretend you did not notice that, You are a Tourist !

Option B: Take bus Tour Letras Blancas on Alcalde Av. -Map. Historic Guadalajara A3(same as 16 de Septiembre streets change names when it crosses Juarez Av.) going south towards tlaquepaque.

Notice: streets in mexico have metal signs on every corner attached to the wall, painted blue with white letters.


This bus is a first class bus so expect to pay $ 10 Mexican Pesos.

When the bus makes a total stop get on board, pay driver $6.00 pesos. First class buses do not allow passengers standing up, so if the bus does not available seats it will not stop for you.
