Gdl Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip, in which circumstances the customer's full deposit will be refunded. Otherwise deposits will be only refunded on the following basis:
At the moment of reserving, specific cancellation policies for the tour and transportation to which you are reserving will automatically be displayed for your information. The following are general cancellation policies which are applicable for most of our listed tours and transportation services:
The Following policy will apply when tour cancellation and refund policy is not listed in the tour description.
All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within one business day after purchase, customers will be fully refunded if the orders cannot be confirmed.
1.- Cancellations received up to 31 days prior to departure will incur a penalty of 10% per person.
2.- Cancellations received within 15-30 days of departure will incur a penalty of 15% per person.
3.- Cancellations received within 7-14 days of departure will incur a chage of 25% per person.
4.- Cancellations received within 4-6 days of departure will incur a charge of 50% per person.
5.- Cancellations received within 3 days of departure will incur a charge of 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

We understand that extenuating circumstances may arise and a change in the booking date might be needed. For this reason, we will be glad to switch you over to any other program date within a period of one year from your booking date at no charge!*

Your refund request will be answered and processed promptly. If you do not receive any reply, that means your request is not received successfully; thus, the tour status remains "confirmed". Please contact us immediately.

Star ratings assigned to hotel accommodations and services are based on GDL Tours own standards and quality criteria and may not necessarily match rating criteria used elsewhere.
Travel services descriptions are regularly updated for a depiction of the product as close to reality as possible. However, GDL Tours cannot be held accountable for variations occurring upon your arrival at the Travel Service site.
GDL Tours will reserve the right to deny the supply of a service to any client at any given moment if and when it considers convenient to do so.
Any claim or comments that the client should present about the services received must be submitted in writing within a period of time no longer than 15 (fifteen) days from travel’s end date.
GDL tours will not assume liability for any claims, costs or expenses arising from personal injuries to the client or third parties, or caused by accidents, fatalities, loss or damage to personal property, lack of enjoyment or claims over emotional and mental states such as upset, disappointment, anguish, distress or frustration, or any other damage, whether physical, mental or emotional, arising from the following:
(a) Acts committed or omissions caused by any party other than or its employees.
(b) Illness, theft, labor disputes, mechanical failures, quarantine, Government actions, weather or any other circumstance beyond direct control of GDL Tours.
(c) The client’s failure to obtain the required travel documentation such as, but not limited to, passport, visas and certificates, in which case no refund will be granted.
(d) The client’s failure to comply with travel instructions such as, but not limited to, flight schedules, hotel check-in and check-out dates and times, and voucher redemption policies.
(e) Changes to, or cancellation of, the travel services offered, notwithstanding the reason GDL Tours reserves the right to cancel or change the travel services at its discretion, but will try to substitute them with comparable services. If a reservation must completely be canceled, GDL Tours liability will be limited to a refund of all monies paid to GDL Tours

Change of Price Policy:
The currency in which service rates are quoted on the website may be other than Mexican pesos or US dollars, in which case the specific currency will be readily specified for your easy identification. Mexican pesos rates will always be charged in Mexican pesos. For any other currency, however, the amount to charge will be first converted into US Dollars and the exchange rate prevailing on the transaction date will be applied. This movement may cause a variation of up to 3% above the international fluctuation index for currency exchange and such difference will show on your billing statement. GDL Tours cannot be held responsible for this variation and upon accepting the PAYMENT POLICIES you acknowledge to have been informed of the exchange rate fluctuation and declare your agreement to the corresponding charge being made into US Dollars.
GDL Tours can change the prices of the services offered at any time. However we will honor the price registered on the invoice for all of our clients. New prices would apply only for the period following their publication. These changes will be published on the home page of the GDL Tours website, and we will confirm these prices when we contact you at the time of billing.
Sales tax is not included on the website prices, Sales taxes is known here as IVA is (16%) payable until the time when Official Factura is required.
GDL Tours would not take responsibility for the cancellation of a tour or some of its activities due to Acts of nature, war, government action, extreme weather conditions, disaster conditions, or any other reasons beyond our control. We shall be excused from carrying out the conditions of the agreement until a normal situation prevails.
We are committed to giving our clients an excellent experience from the very first contact and through our website. We will contact you within 48 hours and try to resolve the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible.
